Position Summary

Manages the coordination of all activities of a engineering team. Plans, organizes, and directs activities of a engineering team to meet company objectives for design, new product development, and improvement of existing product lines. Works on issues with a diverse scope. Recommends changes to policies and procedures.

Major Action and Support Actions

• Manges a team of engineers/technicians who are directly responsible for New product Introduction activities: Define, track, and manage the program schedule, deliverables, and milestones. (20%)
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end NPI execution. Ensures accurate execution of NPI projects, processes, and performance reports, data, and analysis. (20%)
• Ensure manufacturing processes, equipment, and resources are ready for pilot and mass production. Identify and mitigate risks across product, process, schedule, and supply chain. (20%)
• Act as the primary interface between internal stakeholders and external partners to Drive cost, quality and delivery optimization strategies during development. (20%)

Experience, Knowledge, Skills:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or Math
• 5 years experience in product development, manufacturing, or program management, with a strong focus on new product introductions.
• Experience leading cross-functional and Global Teams.
• Effective communicator—able to clearly present program status, negotiate resolution of issues, communicate to senior leadership.
• Advanced knowledge of Root Cause, Corrective Action process, problem-solving, Manufacturing Processes, interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and test reports.
• Proficient in English.
