Job Title: Sr Consultant - Global Communications Technology Delivery and Ops

Location: Bangalore

Job Summary

The Sr Consultant role will be a strategic technology partner to the Communications business relationship manager and solution team. This partnership will enable the Communications function to achieve its goals, drive the greatest leverage of our technical investments, enable innovation, and maintain Baxter's leadership position in the market.

To be successful, you will be defining and establishing designs for all functional aspects of projects. Apply your knowledge of business process operations and web platforms to identify viable solutions and opportunities for improvement of current applications across the digital communications platforms. You will become the coach and mentor for junior members of the team.

This role will act as the technical delivery team's single point of contact for the business relationship and solutions teams and be accountable for ensuring alignment across these IT teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This section contains a list of five to eight primary responsibilities of this role that account for 5% or more of the work. The incumbent will perform other duties assigned.

• Responsible for translating business demands into functional requirements for medium/large complex projects related to the digital communications platform, including global websites and corporate intranet.
• Accountable for organization and categorization of internal code base related to external global web platform.
• Oversee key aspects of the global web platform for Baxter's external web presence to ensure optimal uptime and a steady-state environment.
• Prioritize incoming and backlog work and deliverables to align with the business team's long-term goals and strategy
• Support budget development, forecasts of projects and resources.
• Provide leadership, direction and people management for IT teams focused on business relationship management and product ownership
• Coordinate and plan with external vendors and internal clients to launch websites to the global web platform; keep website domain and hosting registrations current.
• Collaborate with the product owners and business analysts to define core KPIs/goals within the areas of functional responsibility.
• Responsible for ensuring global websites are current with industry regulations and best practices, working with privacy and security teams.
• Ensure internal and external websites follow internal corporate branding guidelines.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, math, statistics, or relevant discipline
• 10+ years of global web platform & digital product management experience; Drupal is a plus
