This position is an exciting and new opportunity to work with Medtronic's Patient Monitoring, Respiratory Interventions and/or MCMS businesses. Currently part of Medtronic, Medtronic has announced its intention to transition these businesses either into a new stand-alone company (currently referred to as NewCo) or merge them into the business of another company. While you will start your employment with Medtronic, upon establishment of NewCo or upon the transition of the business unit to another company, which may occur in approximately 12-15 months, your employment may transfer to one of these entities.
The business will have the same singular focus, financial commitment, deep domain expertise, and global footprint needed to accelerate the development and commercialization of affordable and scalable healthcare technologies.

A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet safety, quality, cost and production goals.
- Prioritizes production schedules and coordinates manufacturing resources to ensure timely delivery of products and components based on equipment efficiency and materials supply, ensure to comply with Quality System requirements.
- Planning budget and control expenses to meet or exceed financial targets.
- Makes budget recommendations on capital expenses for direct/indirect labor.
- Identifies and coordinates cost reduction projects including labor productivity and defects reduction, using Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools
- Interaction and collaboration with other departments to solve any restriction that may stop or slow down production, including material, personnel, equipment, and process issues.
- Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering or related.
- Minimum 5 year of managerial experience in Medical Devices Industry
- 100% Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Strong Leadership skills and Proven track record maximizing output
- Organizational skills to keep on track various budgets, employees and schedules simultaneously.
- Management of Financial and Material Resources, Critical Thinking, Results Oriented and Project Management
- Knowledge of Quality Systems requirements such as ISO, QSR and FDA regulations
- Knowledge for Operation Management resources, capacity planning and projects.
- Knowledge of Machines and Manufacturing Technologies, Proficient computer skills, Data Science and Analysis
- Six Sigma and Lean Expert
