Overview:

The Material Science Engineer performs material analysis on a wide range of samples to understand material structure, properties and failure mechanisms. The Material Science Engineer prepares material analysis reports with conclusions and provides them to relevant stakeholders.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Materials, Nanotechnology, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. Master's degree is a plus
• Fluent in English
• Minimum 3 years' experience working as Material Science Engineer
• Experience working in the automotive industry (desired)
• Experience in material analysis of metals and polymers and preparation of corresponding reports
• Experience in using lab equipment such as SEM, FTIR, TGA, DSC, hardness tester, digital microscope, etc.
• Experience in sample preparation, cross sectioning and chemical etching
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-driven
• Results-oriented
