Position Summary:

This position reports directly to the Asset Manager. Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the Site Engineer and the Qualified Maintenance Technician of each site.

The duties will include:

• Planning, supervising, and executing annual, monthly, weekly, summarized hours, and/or any other required maintenance for the systems that comprise plants in Mexico (currently two: San Luis Potosí and Veracruz), either through your own execution, operator labor, or contracting specialized third parties
• Leading the maintenance technical team and site engineer, who will provide support to the operations team. Sometimes, operators will provide maintenance labor support
• Preparing annual maintenance budgets for review and approval by the Asset Manager
• Holding biweekly meetings with the Asset Manager to follow each asset's separately, about purchasing and maintenance program.
• The Maintenance Manager could be responsible for the implementation of improvement projects into the system. The primary focus should be supporting the operations team to maximize plant availability and reduce operating, maintenance, and downtime costs. As the Site Engineer's leader, his support in Engineering will be indispensable.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure facility maintenance scheduling of priorities associated with them is conducted in accordance with the agreements and management committee expectations.
• Ensure maintenance and engineering systems are meeting requirements for the safe and efficient operation of the facility.
• Provide support for system or plant scheduled or not scheduled outages as it relates to work permitting and organizing of equipment in a safe and efficient manner for access by maintenance personnel.
• Preparing annual maintenance budget for the complete system, for review and approval by the Asset Manager.
• Develop and recommend policies and procedures for plants, substations, distribution/transmission lines, pressure pipes, and the other parts of the systems for each site.
• Approve time off, evaluations and development plans for maintenance and engineering personnel as appropriate.
• Develop the monthly maintenance reports of the plants.
• Co-responsible for the availability of the system and the times outs by failures in machinery.
• Lead the training of the maintenance and engineering workforce.
• Coordinate major maintenance outage, planning activities focusing on schedule and reliability, review and propose the scope and time.
• Develop Business case, Life Cycle, and O&M plans with Superintendent and Sr. Asset Manager for new equipment.
• Collaborate in incident investigation, action follow up and close out for both HSSE and process loss events.
• Ensure that maintenance and engineering team and himself: keep a clean, safe, and unobstructed work area; practice good safety habits; use proper safety equipment and take part in safety meetings and training.
• Protect all company assets (including people, physical property, financial resources, and information) within the control of the employee against loss, misuse, and abuse.
• Ensure that all maintenance and engineering staff (including contractors) know and fulfill their health, safety, and environmental responsibilities.
