Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Logistics Demand Management Teams develop, integrate and provide short-term accounts or brand specific forecasts for internal operations which include replenishment data, customer data, sales promotion information, marketing plans and new distribution/product deletions. They are responsible for facilitating, managing and executing strategic directions related to plant performance, customer demand agreements, supply chain improvements, revenue forecasting and overall improvement in delivery metrics globally. They assist in the improvement of demand system forecasting accuracy for customers. The Demand Management Teams maintain and manage product history, forecasts and promotional demand. They analyze internal demand stream information, and categorizes according to demand patterns. They also may input sales/marketing intelligence for use in forecast systems, working with sales organization(s), national sales accounts, marketing, and related forecasting and planning groups.

What your background should look like:

ON SITE POSITION

ACTIVITIES:
• Tracking of the flow of materials part of a liability agreement (MTS) avoiding excess or shortage of inventory (balance between supply and demand).
• Acknowledge and ensure compliance with applicable liability agreements between customers and the BU.
• Analyze and take relevant actions to cover the weekly forecast shared by customers.
• Keep the BU informed of changes and / or drastic modifications in the client's forecast (monetary terms).
• Work hand by hand with Customer Care / Solution Center and Sales team to know their needs for products / projects and new business in order to be informed about market conditions that help us ensure and maintain a balance between performance / customer service and the interests of the company.
• Effectively manage the MRP for the release of Intercompany orders, as well as expediting processes for the achievement of the "ship to request" objective and work on the necessary rescheduling and/or cancellations according to the customer's requirement shown in the system.
• Prioritize and propose alternative solutions to supply problems.
• Continuously review reports to have a visualization of actions to be taken and review with relevant departments (Warehouse, Transportation, Trade Compliance, Finance)
• Constantly communicate to our suppliers (TE Affiliates, Third Party Suppliers and Distribution Centers) the supply priorities, to have shipment notifications and documents in time in order to streamline the Export / Import processes of shipments.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade: Bachelor's Degree in Administration, International Business, International Relations, Engineering or graduate of any of the above.
• Professional experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in planning, purchasing or supply chain.
• Knowledge: Forecasting, statistics, supply chain, logistics, logistics, inventory management, sourcing models, purchasing.
• Skills: Self-starter, proactive, easy to speak, analytical, negotiation, customer-oriented attitude, team player, work under pressure and decision-making skills.
• Key values and behaviors: Responsibility, Punctuality, Respect, Empathy, Sense of urgency, Commitment, Autonomy, Service attitude, Consistency.
• Languages: English 90% minimum
• Software or systems: Good handling of MS Office (Excel Intermediate-Advanced), SAP (Planning, Purchasing and Material Master)
• Special requirements (travel, field work, heights, physical effort, etc.): N/A
