YOUR TASKS

Leading the site HAM-E Tlaquepaque including product center/segment heads, cross functions for HR, TtM controlling, GTI (QD, FuSa, EEX) and OS.

• Support the strategy for each product center and cross functions
• Act as an ambassador for the side and build strong networks & relationships to Northville and plant leaders in North & South America

Managing financial performance on the site

• Supporting the budgeting process with TtM controlling, product centers and central functions
• Actively looking for improvements on hourly rates and financial competitiveness of the site
• Monitor actuals to budget (cost absorption, reporting rates, headcount, Capex)

Develop and integrate overall organizational development plans to position the site Tlaquepaque with/for:

• Integrating the right technical competencies for D&D and PM to meet customer and project requirements within the integrated product centers
• Becoming a preferred employer into the Guadalajara metro area as well as other cities developed in Mexico
• Securing optimal and competitive conditions for the site to embrace employee satisfaction and engagement
• Working with the HR management team for talent attraction, retention and development

Partner with global owners for GTI including QD, FuSa & EEX to secure deployment and proper application for related processes

• Engagement with local product center heads and global owners on proper deployment for defined global processes
• Participate in global teams to provide local input to improve global processes and projects

Define internal requirements to be met by indirect purchasing to meet project deliverables (cost, lead-times, technical advantages, etc)

• Defining internal service agreements with the indirect purchasing organization and measuring performance
• Participate in key purchasing tenders and providing relevant inputs to drive a competitive advantages for the product centers.
• Secure compliance of internal users on indirect purchasing policy

Secure optimized real estate and IT infrastructure, including planning for the site to meet business needs working together with our corporate REM and IT team

• Representing the electronics team in Tlaquepaque in the planning of needed office and lab space needs for short, medium and long term.
• Defining best IT equipment for a technical center based on best practices at other Hella tech centers and planning accordingly

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Academic degree, PhD or equivalent professional background preferable in (electrical) engineering
• Several years of international management experience in the field of automotive technology & engineering
• Profound and deep knowledge and background in automotive or technology industry
• Experience in leading, inspiring and transforming multifunctional international teams including having excellent stakeholder management abilities
• Strong characteristics and experiences with a pioneering spirit, creative thinking and change management
• Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (English) and capability to adapt to a demanding environment
