One of our main clients, a leader in nutritional supplements, is looking for an International Buyer.

Job Objective

• Ensure the supply of high-quality raw materials from China and the United States, meeting the standards of the dietary supplement industry and the health regulations of Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete procurement process of food ingredients from China and the United States, maintaining strategic relationships with international suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with delivery timelines and optimize costs without compromising the quality and effectiveness of the supplies.
• Coordinate import logistics and ensure the availability of raw material inventory to meet production demand.
• Handle and secure the necessary import permits in compliance with the regulations of Mexico's health authority.
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers and sourcing options in the international market to diversify the supply chain.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Food Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing and importing food ingredients or supplements, specifically in coordination with suppliers in China and the United States.
• Proven experience in managing import permits and health regulations in Mexico.
• C1 level in English (mandatory).
• Knowledge of logistics and customs, particularly in food ingredient import regulations.
