PRODUCTION PLANNER

General Description

The position holder has the responsibility and authority to manage, establish, review, and maintain the production plan. Schedule manufacturing, ensuring that the product flow meets financial objectives and customer deadlines.

Main Responsibilities

1. Develops strategic production plans according to customer priorities and communicates them in a timely manner to operational areas.
2. Create production orders based on customer requirements, production, and efficiency.
3. Establish priorities and delivery plans.
4. Analyze demand, capacities and forecasts according to business needs and manage them in the system.
5. Monthly monitoring of the PFEP (Part for Every Part) to ensure proper management of MRP planning parameters.
6. Participate and provide support in continuous improvement projects through the WIN strategy
7. Responsible for maintaining the Safety Stock of the OB-Parker plant at optimal levels.
8. Coordinates with the purchasing and logistics departments to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
9. Manages the ramp-up and ramp-down of new products to ensure consistency in delivery and minimize obsolete inventory.
10. Release, expedite, or cancel production orders according to changes in demand.

Qualifications

Industrial Engenieering Bachelor or compatible

3 years of experience in the materials area

Extensive knowledge of MRP, Materials Planning and Inventory Management

APICS CPIM 

Analitycal thinking

Microsoft Office

Fluent English Business Conversation Level
