Purpose of the position

· The Analytics and Reporting Engineer will engage in the full development life cycle of an in-house data warehouse and the integration of business intelligence tools to enable more effective strategic, tactical, and operational insights from company data. This role is also responsible for the development, update and support of reports and dashboards in the different reporting tools within the company´s toolbox: PowerBI, Tableau, OBIEE and Cognos.

· This will involve working with stakeholders to identify requirements, proposing and implementing solutions, hands-on development to integrate data sources, validating report accuracy and participating in the ongoing maintenance of the system. As a Reporting and Analytics Engineer, you will be working alongside the data engineering team looking at design, visualizations, reports, ad-hoc analysis. Ensuring that all documentation is completed, best practices are set and adhered to.

Principal responsibilities

· Develops and manages reports and dashboards in the different reporting tools within the company´stoolbox: Tableau (Mandatorio), PowerBI (Mandatorio), OBIEE (Preferencial) and Cognos (Preferencial).

· Designs and Develops Visualizations and ad-hoc Data Analytics solutions to support the Business areas.

• Ability to multi-task and work across multiple projects (scrum or Waterfall) with competing priorities and deadlines

Required key skills

Mandatory

• Good Knowledge with Ticketing System Tool (i.e. Remedy, HP Service Manager, Service Now, Cherwell, etc.)
• Experience with visualization and analysis tools: Power BI (3 years of experience)
• Data Analytics & End User Experience
• Experience in Data warehouse
• Technical knowledge of MS SQL Databases
• Computer Science degree
• Minimum of 5 years of SQL Development experience
• Minimum of 5 years of business experience in any of the following areas: finance, supply chain, procurement.

Preferencial

• Technical knowledge of Oracle Databases
• Experience with visualization and analysis tools Tableau and Excel
• Understanding of Big Data concepts
