Partner with the best
As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Working with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production including design, prototyping, validation, testing and certification
- Capturing system level requirements by brainstorming with team leader and product manager.
- Analyzing requirements and recommend solutions through architecture discussions.
- Documenting the design, seek feedback and defend the design by showing values and usage.
- Working independently and possess a level of engineering competency necessary to complete and execute engineering project tasks with minimal oversight.
- Sifting through complex technical issues/problems and focus on the critical priorities and perform necessary tasks to identify a viable solution in the least possible time
- Serving as primary point of contact for manufacturing employees to clarify questions on drawings and designs.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Have minimum 4 years of engineering experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry
- Have minimum 4 years of experience working with CAD software for mechanical engineering design of industrial products
- Have minimum 4 years of experience working with SAP
Desired Characteristics
- Have minimum 4 years relevant work experience and knowledge of applied mechanical engineering design, analysis, and verification of electronic packaging, mechanisms, and assemblies in an industrial environment
- Have experience working with Solidworks and Solidworks simulation
- Have knowledge and experience of different forming processes including injection molding, thermoforming, sheet metal design, casting, welding
- Understand of commercial standards as applied to electronic packaging
- Be a Self-starter, energizing and results oriented
- Have effective problem identification and solution skills while coordinating several projects simultaneously
- Be experienced with safety and hazardous standards such as IEC60079 and IEC61010
- Have standard office abilities, e.g. web, word processing, and electronic spreadsheet / presentation skills
- Have demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to perform in a team environment, across functions, and with customer and suppliers
- Lead/influence others in cross-functional environments
