Main Responsibilities:

• Technical Supervision of the Photometric and Environmental Laboratories of the PO Lighting MX Plant.
• Support of performance of electronic environmental tests according to customer requirements.
• Knowledge of use of data acquisition devices (DAQ) in order to record voltage, current, temperature, humidity, etc... of UUT during testing and use of those measurements to represents on plots to review test performance.
• Good Knowledge and experience of NI LabView, TestStand, LabWindows/CVI programing in order to develop test lab interfaces for controlling and monitoring test equipment and UUT through GPIB, USB, Serial, Ethernet, PXI, VXI and FPGA instrument communication.
• Desired knowledge of automotive network protocols like CAN (controller area network), LIN (local interconnect network) either developing communication applications (interfaces) or using Vector (CANoe) to interact with the UUT.
• Verification and analysis of test electronic results for compliance with legal and client requirements.
• Knowledge of electronic circuitry in order to understand product behavior and performance.
• Establish and verify test electronic methods based on customer requirements, industrial specifications, Varroc specifications and Government Regulations for the evaluation of external lighting products.
• Technical support to the quality and engineering areas in the analysis for the solution of problems related to VLSM products and Warranty returns.
• Monitoring of laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance programs.
• Coordination of DV and PV tests in PO Lighting MX for new model products and creation of test reports.
• Always looking for improvements to perform electronic test processes implementing new technologies of hardware and software.
• Know and comply with and enforce the Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) policy and guidelines of the plant.

Requirements:

• Preferably Electronic Engineering, Bachelor's degree or related career

• Electronic Engineering career and 5-10 Years of experience in automotive, environmental, photometric and electronic field tests.
• Microsoft Office
• Core Tools (Lab Equipment Software / Hardware Operational Usage), NI LABVIEW (Test Stand).
• Electronic instrumentation: Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Power supply, signal generator.
• +3 Years in quality for Automotive OEM (Tier1).
• Knowledge of FMVSS Requirements, ECE and other Government Regulations.
