- Purchasing Financials
Establish and maintain strong relationships with Finance, acting as the primary point of contact for purchasing data management. Foster open communication and collaboration to drive mutual success by:
- Tracking financial performance and key KPI's
- Analyzing business performance and market conditions to facilitate forecasting and material cost recovery
- Supporting budget planning
- Monitoring financial health suppliers
- Maintain relationship with regional / corporate finance and sales teams
- Purchasing Systems:
- Support the Development, training and ticket support on purchasing tools and systems
- Support the Creation and enhancement of standard reports and KPI dashboard
- Master Data Management across different systems
- Measure and track compliance
- Technology and Innovation, Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to financials systems in the region. Apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the department.
- Purchasing Shared service center:
- Provide shared service Support on regional spend visibility evolution
- Express regional requirement towards data master management and analytics
- Work with the shared service to expand activities responsibilities in terms of regions and scope
- Partner with the global purchasing functions to understand what is feasible
- Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with purchasing team in the region and finance to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Vendor Performance Metrics:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers, regularly reviewing and communicating their performance to relevant stakeholders. Implement corrective actions as necessary to address any performance gaps.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing data report interactions.
- Generate comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate purchasing results.
What will make you successful?
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of experience in financial controlling/ data analysis in automotive industry.
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Skills in Powerbi and Sharepoint are a plus
- Good Ability to Learn
- Fluent English
- Team Player
- Ability to work independently as well as in an International team environment
- Experience with ERP systems can be an advantage
- Able to interact with senior leadership
- Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to travel as needed to visit suppliers (estimated at 50%).
