As a member of the Data Management team the EDI Analyst will provide IT customer service, technical troubleshooting, and resolution to internal and external parties. This position will collaborate with the different IT teams, customers, trading partners, and third-party providers to address issues related to EDI interfaces and end-to-end file flow. EDI Implementation tasks include configuration, setup, testing, certification, documentation, and post-production monitoring.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Provide the required levels of customer service to internal and external parties.
Timely completion of delegated IT project tasks
Effective planning and execution of tasks that test and certify delegated IT solutions.
Compliance with the IT release management process
Compliance with Jira, Time Tracking, and Service Now Helpdesk
Produce desired results when troubleshooting, managing, and applying resolution to IT issues and/or research requests.
Collaborates and works with Application Support Extension Team
Cross-group collaboration with IT, Operations, Customers, and other Stakeholders
Main point of contact for monitoring EDI Flows across all applications and Trading partners
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Listed below are some of the key responsibilities our Senior Data Architects take on. However, we work in an Agile environment, making this a superb opportunity for you to carve this role for yourself:
Monitors email, phone, and helpdesk queues for new incidents and requests
Provides analysis, communication, and resolution to internal and external parties of all Incident and Problem Management cases.
Develop and maintain knowledgebase articles that are relevant to EDI Support/Analyst
React to alerts for data interface errors and exceptions.
Analyze the use of new or existing EDI solutions and/or change requests.
Coordinate EDI downtime and outage communication.
Identify, propose, and execute continuous improvement opportunities.
Administer and apply EDI configuration tasks.
Implementation tasks such as EDI interfaces, Trading Partner Relationships, and Communication Protocol Setups
EDI Analysis, Mapping, and File Generation as needed.
On-call support
Create dataflow diagrams.
Other related duties as assigned.
Managed File Transfer System
Architects EDI message flow as needed.
Qualifications:

BA degree required.
5 years EDI or combination of related IT/Industry experience
Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to multi-task projects and production support tasks
Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Preferred but not required based on education and experience:
No less than 5 years exp. with IT technical support and customer service
Experience working in the Supply Chain Management industry a plus
Knowledgeable and able to apply skill sets in MSSQL.
Strong understanding of global EDI standards such as XML, ANSI X12, EDIFACT, csv files, etc.
EDI Mapping or Coding
Experience onboarding EDI Trading Partners
Experience supporting and/or operating logistics execution systems and applications including but not limited to WMS, YMS and TMS applications.
Experience with translation tools such as Seeburger, CLEO, Biztalk
Has experience interfacing with 3rd party EDI Providers and VANs
Experience establishing and troubleshooting SFTP, AS2, and VAN setups.
Experience with APIs
