We are looking for versatile engineer who will be part of the technical team in UCS Product Operations team developing scalable manufacturing test solutions for UCS DataCenter servers and storage devices. A successful candidate is expected to understand principles of Product Test and Quality engineering.
What You'll Do
Engage with engineering team (SW/HW/Diagnostics) to gain in depth systemhardware knowledge for new product.
Generate product-specific test plans and drive test coverage based on productrequirements
Design, build and deploy test platforms for Cisco's global manufacturing partners.
Analyze, troubleshoot and root cause manufacturing yield issues andfield escapes.
Drive issues to closure with preventive measures.
Develop and maintain Python SW test scripts using MFG test automation framework.
Educate and train contract manufacturing TE's on NPI products and test development tools and test procedures.
Perform data analysis of Logs, Test Reports and Yield reports.
Minimum Qualifications
Who You Are
You will own the development of manufacturing test strategies. You are an expert in Data analysis, yield reports, CpK.
You have built and reviewed test plans.
Computer server or microcontroller knowledge is a plus.
You have a strong project management skill.
Any of CCNA/CCNP certifications and Agile Methodology a plus
Our Minimum Requirements For This Role
BSEE/CS 5+ yrs. related experience, or a MSEE/CS combined with 5-8+ years of related experience.Experience working with Operating systems such as Windows, Linux, VMware.Proficient in Python with applied knowledge of OOP concepts. Experience in scripting languages such as Bash Shell /or Perl.Program and people management skills with ability to work with cross functional teams domestic and overseas

U.S. employees have to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
