Position Summary

Desired:

• Be a subject matter expert with on the Road commercial mechanical repairs
• Effectively answer high volumes of phone calls in a clear and professional manner
• Negotiate with repair vendors to reduce costs while meeting DOT expectations
• Ability to understand and execute company/vendor expectations
• Apply DOT regulations to your repair decisions
• Commercial vehicle mechanical background
• Coordinate/schedule work to be performed in the vendors shops along with setting up and maintaining a work order to ensure efficient repairs and shop operations
• Receive phone, emails, messages and driver's inquiries, serving as a consultant on problems
• Review all work orders before closing, making necessary changes. Close and approve work orders to be invoiced

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide customer service (both internally and external)
• Maintain computer records
• Schedule regular maintenance
• Review and document repairs
• Review and negotiated repairs with Vendors

Work Experience:

• Highly experience and heavy duty over the road equipment specific
• Expert with the Freightliner equipment
• Be an expert or Familiar with the Peterbilt equipment
• Be an expert or Familiar with the International equipment
• Experience on reefer unit prefer but not essential
• Experience on reefer units is preferred but not essential

Education

• College or Advance Technical training
• Advanced English
