About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager - B1 Planning to optimize truck utilization, ensure on-time freight delivery, and enhance operational efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the movement of 600 B1 trucks weekly, ensuring compliance with service levels, and improving driver satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, strategic planning, and team collaboration to achieve key performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and dispatch 600 B1 trucks weekly, ensuring timely departures between 0700 to 0900 AM daily.
• Forecast load needs based on daily mileage goals and location to maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with Account Management to ensure all border crossing documents are prepared in advance.
• Plan northbound loads to meet On Time Delivery (OTD) and On Time Performance (OTP) targets.
• Coordinate both southbound and northbound border crossing shipments.
• Manage trailer pools to meet customer expectations and reduce downtime.
• Improve work efficiency by planning according to available driving hours.
• Increase daily odometer miles and reduce deadhead (empty miles).
• Achieve service levels above 90% and plan shipments 36 hours ahead.
• Lead a team of B1 Planning specialists.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics, transportation planning, or operations management.
• Strong analytical skills to forecast load needs and optimize routes.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Account Management and drivers.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of border-crossing documentation and regulations is a plus.
• Commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Advance English Level.
• Valid U.S. Visa is a plus.
