About the role
As a Garnishment Administrator, you will play an essential role in ensuring legal compliance and operational accuracy by managing garnishment processes. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will directly support financial integrity, employee satisfaction, and Carrier's high standards for accountability.
Key Responsibilities
As a Garnishment Administrator, you'll be responsible for:
• Reviewing garnishment orders and identifying required actions
• Uploading garnishments to a third-party vendor system
• Responding promptly to vendor inquiries
• Preparing responses to interrogatories and data requests
• Issuing garnishment-related refunds to employees
• Assisting in documentation and reporting for audits and legal matters
• Coordinating with third-party vendors to ensure issue resolution
Requirements
We are looking for detail-oriented, solution-driven individuals who value compliance and efficiency. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
As a minimum, you must have:
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional education is a plus)
• Previous experience in garnishments, payroll, or accounts payable
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Strong data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• High attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Analytical thinking and independent problem-solving ability
• Comfort working under time-sensitive deadlines
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
• Knowledge of legal requirements related to payroll garnishments
• Experience working with external vendors or platforms
• Exposure to audit preparation or reporting
