TTI, Inc., is in search of our next superstar Trade Compliance associate for our Global Resource Center located in Guadalajara, Mexico. this role supports the Global Trade Compliance Team located at TTI Corporate Headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas, this role also plays a critical part in ensuring TTI's compliance with international trade regulations by assisting in data collection, documentation, and internal coordination related to import/export activity.

What our trade Compliance associate will do
- Assist the corporate Trade Compliance team with the collection, analysis, validation, and upload of trade compliance data and documentation.
- Support the Trade Compliance Coordinator in obtaining country of origin certificates from suppliers and issuing certificates requested by the Sales team.
- Assist the corporate Trade Compliance team with denied party screening activities and escalation procedures as required.
- Support recordkeeping processes related to trade compliance requirements.
- Communicating status updates and potential issues to the Trade Compliance Coordinator and Manager in a timely and professional manner.
- Participating in special projects or process improvements as assigned by the Trade Compliance leadership team.
What we look for
- technical training or university-level studies in International Business, Customs, Foreign Trade, or a related field preferred.
- At least one year of experience in administrative support, logistics, or customer service is desirable, including internships or academic projects related to trade or compliance. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be also considered.
- Familiarity with basic customs procedures and international trade concepts is a plus.
- Business-level proficiency in both verbal and written English is required to effectively communicate with U.S.-based teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and cultures.
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and time management in handling compliance data and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and general PC usage; familiarity with databases or ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage confidential or sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Demonstrated adaptability, willingness to learn, and ability to follow structured processes in a compliance-driven environment.
- Comfortable working with remote teams and navigating a fast-paced, dynamic workload with competing priorities.
- Prior experience in administrative, logistics, international shipping, or customer support roles is considered beneficial and transferable to this position.
