ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Project Management

• Plan, execute, and close engineering projects according to established goals and schedules.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, production, supply chain) to drive project success.
• Track and report project progress, milestones, and risks to stakeholders.

Design & Feasibility

• Review customer drawings and 3D models to assess manufacturability and feasibility.
• Apply GD&T knowledge to validate dimensional and functional requirements.
• Recommend design improvements for DFM.

Manufacturing Process Support

• Oversee and support manufacturing processes with a focus on sheet metal fabrication, stamping, forming, and welding.
• Participate in process development and tooling reviews to ensure smooth transitions from development to production.

Quality & Compliance

• Coordinate the completion of APQP and PPAP documentation, including Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Work Instructions.
• Work closely with quality and process engineering teams to ensure all customer requirements and standards are met.
• Participate in audits and customer meetings related to project deliverables.

Customer & Supplier Interaction

• Serve as the main technical contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with suppliers to review and validate materials, specifications, and special process requirements.

Tooling & Documentation

• Review or coordinate the design of jigs, fixtures, and tooling with CAD tools (2D/3D).

Ensure production teams are fully trained and aligned for SOP readiness
