DY Corporation is a South Korean company founded in 1978. Throughout the years DY has become a globally competitive supplier of hydro automotive components for industrial machinery mainly focused in heavy duty. DY has been expanding around different countries such as Japan, China, India, USA and Mexico.
The site in Mexico is named DY Mechatronics. It is so far one of the biggest and most important projects held by the corporation, the reason why we are very excited to work on our new team.

Role Description
The Finance Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting functions of the organization. This position ensures compliance with local and international regulations, optimizes resource utilization, and provides accurate and timely financial reporting. The Finance Manager plays a strategic role by supporting business decision-making through financial planning, analysis, and risk management. Additionally, this role involves managing tax compliance, treasury operations, external and internal audits, and ensuring effective integration and use of ERP systems, primarily SAP.
QUALIFICATIONS
General Accounting
- Supervise accounting records in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
- Capitalize fixed assets in SAP and manage depreciation controls.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Coordinate internal and external audits with complete documentary support.
Federal and State Taxes
- Supervise the calculation, filing, and payment of federal and state taxes.
- Prepare and review annual income tax (ISR) returns.
- Handle electronic audits, tax inspections, and SAT requirements.
Social Security and Labor Obligations
- Ensure compliance with IMSS, INFONAVIT, and Fonacot obligations.
- Oversee payroll tax calculations and electronic stamping (timbrado de nómina).
Accounts Payable and Treasury
- Manage cash flow and prepare treasury projections.
- Handle domestic and international payments, bank reconciliations, and supplier control.
- Efficient use of banking platforms and administration of electronic authorizations.
Invoicing and Tax Requirements
- Supervise issuance of electronic invoices (CFDI) and tax complements (payments, Carta Porte, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and proper integration into SAP.
Foreign Trade
- Supervise import and export operations, validating documentation (pedimentos, invoices, DODA).
- Coordinate with customs brokers and ensure regulatory compliance.
ERP and Systems
- Proficient in SAP FI (Finance), CO (Controlling/Costing), and MM (Materials) modules.
- Specific experience in cost center (CCT) accounting, expense allocation, and internal accounting structures.
- Daily use of platforms such as SAT, IDSE, SUA, SIPARE, tax mailbox, VUCEM, etc.
Financial Analysis and Planning
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and KPIs.
- Develop, monitor, and control budgets and cost centers in SAP.
- Perform variance, margin, and profitability analysis by business unit.
Administrative Management and Support
- Follow up on administrative procedures with banks, notaries, SAT, IMSS, and other entities.
- Provide full support during financial and tax audits.
- Supervise accounting and tax documentation archives in compliance with current legislation

Technical Knowledge
- Tax legislation (ISR, VAT, CFF), Social Security Law, and Labor Law.
- Monthly and annual tax returns, electronic accounting, CFDI.
- SAP: FI and CO modules, cost center structures (CCT).
- IFRS standards.
- Foreign trade and regulatory procedures.

Academic Background
- Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years in similar positions within the financial area.
- Proven experience in SAP (FI, CO, CCT), tax filings, audits, foreign trade, and administrative support.

Recruitment Process
Once the profile is reviewed by the HR and administration staff you will receive a call or a message from DY Mechatronics Mexico. It is a 3 step process which requires 3 different interviews. The first interview is held by phone call from the HR staff for general information and CV fact check. The second one follows up with a face to face interview in our offices with the participation of the administrative staff as well as the HR team. The last but not least interview is held with the participation of our vice-president and staff in which the final decision is made.
