Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and ensure compliance with company safety policies, as well as provide timely follow-up on the closure of findings of unsafe conditions and compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE).
Report environmental or safety hazards to your immediate supervisor
Ensure personnel in charge operate the machines for which they were trained following the standard work
Participate in the investigation of accidents/incidents.
Promote environmental awareness and safety standards in accordance with established systems.
Assume responsibility and accountability for the effectiveness of the environmental system.
React to audit non-conformance, and where applicable take action to control and correct it; address the consequences, including mitigation of adverse environmental impacts.
Execute the Emergency Response Plan correctly in accordance with procedure
Perform LPA according to schedule and ensure that its leaders in charge execute it.
Coordinate and ensure the timely completion of production (OEE), safety and scrap reports.
Coordinate and ensure the correct filling in time of the production blackboard.
Follow up and close actions in general of the lines in charge (LPA, safety, environmental, quality, production (OEE), maintenance, etc.).
Coordinate and ensure that the team is informed of the progress of the closing activities of the operation.
Coordinate and assign human and material resources to the personnel in charge.
Coordinate and ensure the training in the operation and detect the training needs of the personnel in the workstation.
Ensure the rotation of personnel in different operations so that the team is multifunctional.
Manage personnel incidents.
Participate in courses, workshops, trainings as requested in order to lead the team to achieve the objectives.
Promote problem solving through the corresponding process (8D / A3).
Determine if an improvement idea generated by a team member is feasible, manage the idea with the implementer and validate the implementation of the idea.
Manage the implementation and maintenance of improvements on the line and apply lean techniques such as 5's, TPM, etc.
Handle labor conflicts (negotiation).
Abide by the daily work standard and give direction to line leaders and operators in general.
Motivate, direct and recognize the personnel in charge.
Ensure a dignified treatment with colleagues following the company values.
Ensure compliance with the RIT.
Perform the capture of overtime and transportation routes in a timely manner.
Review and close the payroll of the personnel in charge in time and form to close the week correctly.
Ensure proper personnel administration.
Ensure compliance with calisthenics exercises at start of shift and mid-shift.
Manage and verify the closure of the Maintenance Work Order.
Review and ensure compliance to daily production plan.
Active participation in the Annual Physical Inventory.
What we're looking forGrade: Mechanical Engineering Administrator, Electrical Mechanic, Industrial Production, Technician or related career.
Time of experience in similar position: 3 years or more in a Production Supervisor position.
Technical knowledge required: Manufacturing processes, Personnel management, KPIs management, Quality and environmental systems, Problem analysis and solution, Work safety, 5'S, Lean Manufacturing, Federal Labor Law, ISO 14001, Industrial safety and environmental ecology systems, Environmental regulations, Industrial safety and hygiene, NOM's, Accident investigation and prevention, Ergonomics and risk analysis.
Other requirements: Microsoft Office, SAP, Personnel administration software.
