A leading metal-mechanical company specializing in the manufacturing of industrial equipment is looking for:


BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND SALES MANAGER


Job Summary: The Business Development & Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities for the company in various third-party markets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in sales and business development, particularly within the foundry and metal parts industry. The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director to create and implement strategies that expand our market presence and drive revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industries that could benefit from our foundry services. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business development strategies.
  • Lead Generation: Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies to attract new clients. Utilize various channels such as networking, industry events, online platforms, and direct outreach to generate leads.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements. • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals. Set sales targets, create action plans, and monitor progress to ensure objectives are met.
  • Proposal and Contract Management: Prepare and present compelling proposals to potential clients. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business while ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies.
  • Project Management: Oversee the management of existing orders and accounts acquired. Inform clients on schedules, follow up on new orders, and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients. Provide feedback and insights to improve product offerings and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market data. Provide regular reports and updates to the Managing Director on business development progress and performance metrics.
  • Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. Stay informed about industry developments and trends to identify new opportunities for growth.


Qualifications:

  • ?Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the foundry or metal parts industry.
  • Strong understanding of foundry operations, metal casting processes, and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective business development plans.
  • ERP knowledge preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
