Position Objective:

• Work closely with senior members of the investment team to conceptualize, structure, and analyze new deals and financing with private and institutional counterparts.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience working for leading private equity and/or real estate funds, management consulting firms, investment banks, and/or world-class developers.
• Solid understanding of financial concepts such as net present value, internal rate of return, equity multiple, yield on cost, cap rate, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, or finance.
• Superior financial modeling and business skills.
• Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the pro form for portfolio properties.
• Own and manipulate financial models to determine the financial feasibility of potential development projects.
• Support the development process of potential projects, including market analysis, studies, construction cost and schedule estimates, and operational assumptions.
• Prepare investment documents for senior management and the Investment Committee.
• Maintain and track the firm's investment pipeline.
• Support the due diligence process for investment opportunities.
• Gather and interpret data related to economic trends and the real estate market (mixed-use, residential, offices, malls, hospitality) to identify potential investment opportunities and risks.
• Monitor industry trends and recent transactions.
