At Eni, we are looking for a Materials Supervisor within Eni Mexico, S.de R.L. de C.V. in Villahermosa, Mexico. You will enforce proper physical and accounting procedures for material management, ensuring availability in terms of quantity, quality and timing, while also guaranteeing accurate cost allocation. You will oversee all material-related activities (receipt, storage, quarantine, etc.), ensuring safe and efficient storage, effective inbound and outbound operations in accordance with company procedures, and the accuracy of stock level reports.

Main responsibilities:
- Supporting the Material Coordinator in completing tasks related to Material Management.
- Coordinating the materials management workflow at the Company's storage location (Dos Bocas), ensuring proper tracking and preservation of all equipment and materials.
- Arranging for the delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment to the supply base, including performing the necessary administrative functions, paperwork and other logistics.
- Ensuring that all coded materials (according to Company procedures) and direct-use materials transferred to/from locations or contractors are properly documented, completed and authorized.
- Managing all inventory control functions, including cycle counts of coded items, inventory procedures and training, user department requests and record keeping.
- Proactively interfacing with user departments and site personnel to facilitate the timely delivery of requested materials.
- Ensuring that all hazardous materials (HAZMAT) are properly documented by suppliers in compliance with Company HSE procedures and local regulations.
- Promoting a safety culture and ensuring that all HSE&Q requirements related to materials handling and storage are fully understood and met.
- Strictly applying Company procedures for material handling (e.g., lifting operations) and transportation.
- Ensuring that all materials management activities are auditable and compliant with Company policies, procedures and legislation to minimize potential partner or audit claims.
- Ensuring items are stored in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses or designated areas.
- Marking stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
Skills and experience required:
- Undergraduate degree in a materials-related subject, business administration or a similar discipline is preferred. Equivalent professional or institute-based qualifications are also acceptable.
- Significant experience in receiving and storage supervision, with a solid understanding of logistics and materials management processes.
- Advanced level of English.
- Proven experience working with SAP systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage people and demonstrate leadership.
- Team player with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- High level of adaptability, initiative and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to perform under pressure in an environment that demands the highest standards of customer service, confidentiality and ethical conduct.
- Sound knowledge of HSE requirements related to material handling, transportation, warehousing and pipe yard operations.
- Proficient in using personal computers, including email, record keeping, databases, word processing, spreadsheets and presentation tools.
