Agave Financial Specialist

The following position is open in Jalisco, Mexico.

What makes this a great opportunity?

• Assure the right resource allocation to determine an accurate agave cost
• Assure inventory accuracy of the agricultural operation
• Review and monitor the right usage of resources to optimize costs
• Execute in SAP month end activities in a timely manner the determine financial results

Role Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and explanation of the inventory, cost and expenses variance between Budget and Actual
• Perform the month end pre-closing including payroll and outsourcing expenses and ensure the proper inventory postings and adjustments.
• Execute the month end close steps in the system (SAP) for inventories and cost for the agriculture companies and assure completion in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review and reconcile the inventory reports to the General Ledger
• Reconcile Inventory account balances with actual inventory on hand
• Ensure that all inventory and other financial reports are completed and delivered in accordance with the monthly reporting schedule.
• Assist the preparation of financial Budget and financial analysis as required
• Participate in physical inventories as needed

Qualifications & Experience

• Certifications/Licensure- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Costing or Finance
• Years of experience- 3-5 years
• Level of experience- 3-5 years
• Industry experience- Spirits, foods or similar
• Travel %- 25%
• Additional qualifications desired: 65% English
