Job Summary:

Satellite Teams is seeking a compassionate and organized Bilingual Patient Care Coordinator to support our U.S.-based healthcare clients. In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care. The ideal candidate is fluent in both Spanish and English, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and other medical staff, ensuring effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and procedures while managing appointment reminders and confirmations.
• Provide patients with information about treatments, medications, and care plans.
• Verify insurance coverage, process authorizations, and handle billing inquiries.
• Maintain accurate patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
• Assist patients with forms, documentation, and navigating the healthcare system.
• Address patient concerns and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Fluency in both Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience as a Patient Care Coordinator, Medical Receptionist, or in a similar healthcare administrative role.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance processes, and EHR systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Empathetic and patient-focused mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare administration training or certifications are a plus.
