Position Summary

• Responsible for defining the strategy and ensuring the availability of raw materials, components and indirect materials in a timely manner for their transformation into the Finished Product
• Responsible for creating production schedules that ensure compliance with customer demand, as well as standardizing the processes of the functional areas under his/her responsibility. Gives support to the S&OP
• Manages resources in the areas of planning, purchasing, warehouse, shipping, receiving, as well as ensuring that all employees work on the continuous improvement of processes

Responsibilities

• Meet the LISC (On Time Delivery) and DSI (Inventory) targets defined for the plant
• Coordinate scheduling of customer demand for on-time delivery
• Responsible for the Purchasing, Production Planning, Receiving, Shipping and Inventory Control function
• Responsible for Defining and Maintaining optimal inventory levels of Raw Materials, Components, Indirect and Finished Product
• Implementation and follow-up of material control systems such as Kan Ban, consignment where required
• Responsible for Inventory Accuracy and for implementing and proposing continuous improvement actions in all processes
• Ensure that inventory transactions are carried out in accordance with the procedure
• Responsible for the Planning and Coordination of the Annual Physical Inventory

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• 5 years of experience as a Manager in a similar or related position in the Supply Chain or Production Control area
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Experience with KAN BAN systems and inventory strategies
• Proficient in the use of Troubleshooting tools
• Expert in Microsoft Office tools to manage databases and macros
• APICS desirable
• Analytical and Results Oriented
• Personnel management and development
