We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Planner to join our team.

The Manufacturing Production Planner is responsible for the effective utilization and planning of Production assets and Customer fulfillment planning in the Manufacturing network.

The Production Planner will also need to develop and maintain capacity plans for the manufacturing facilities along with the services they offer and align orders, inventory, and other resources to ensure a high level of Customer service.

This involves strategic planning as well as day-to-day monitoring and problem solving, developing, and monitoring process indicators and reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production Planning

* Identify opportunities to reduce the total cost of global supply chain by optimizing the

global network.

* Lead the process improvement activities and projects to (re)design as necessary current

practices to take advantage of core SAP functionality.

* Help development of a capacity production model and implement processes to schedule

assets based on the model.

* Gain and maintain expertise in SAP relevant to Planning, Production, and Materials Management through self-study, attending conferences, attending formal classes and participating in industry groups.

*Set up and maintain all TAN production orders.

*Enter all production orders daily based on demand.

*Crafting daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.

*Assisting team members with timely responses to simultaneous production issues.

*Providing status updates, reporting changes, and reallocating resources as needed.

*Reviewing production processes for areas of improvement.

*Offering constructive feedback to team members.

*Ensuring everyone has necessary tools and materials.

*Sales & Operations Planning

*Serve as the lead liaison between Sales, Materials Management, Sourcing and Operations to optimize Production Efficiency, Customer Service, Inventory and Asset Utilization.

*Conduct formal and informal meetings with Sales, Customer Service, Materials Management, Sourcing and Operations leaders to track capacity utilization on a regular cadence and solve hotspots in capacity or customer service as they arise.

*Lead the evaluation of load leveling methodology for capacity and cost optimization.

*Work with Sales and Operations to adjust demand to meet any capacity issues.

Supply Chain Planning

*Lead and/or participate in projects to implement improvements in customer service, inventory investment and supply chain efficiency to achieve measurable results.

*Develop/update scorecards, dashboards, and exception reports to identify opportunities for improvements within supply chain and operations

*Prepare and issue specific daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports and distribute to key stakeholders.

*Create and distribute ad hoc reports as requested by functional departments or Internal Management.

*Assist in ad-hoc /cross-functional projects requiring master data expertise.

*Manage projects or participate in cross-functional projects as they pertain to process improvement within SAP.

*Maintain proper inventory (TAN and Stocking Agreements) levels based on forecast, history, or stocking agreements.
