Job Title: Carrier Analyst

Summary

The Carrier Analyst I works with Pricing and Carrier Sales team members to review customer lanes and provide carrier leads on business opportunities. Carrier Analyst I works on projects/matters of moderate complexity. Work is managed, yet there is moderate autonomy.

Key measures of success include:

- Synthesize complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data

- Demonstrates attention to detail, identifying and solving problems in a timely manner

- Gather and analyze information and recommend / develop alternative solutions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Utilize statistical and data analysis to match bid and contracted lanes with 3rd party carrier availability

- Develop and maintain 3rd party carrier network balance reports / tools

- Work with Carrier Sales team to maintain 3rd party carrier profiles and book of business

- Knowledge base for Carrier Sales team concerning current 3rd party network capacity

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Efficient in Microsoft Office

- Microsoft Excel functions including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, IF statements and Macros

- PowerBI expertise, ability to build and maintain reports with minimal assistance

- Prefer experience with SQL and/or statistical languages such as R and Python

- Prefer experience with transportation management systems such as McLeod, OTM, TMW or similar

- Analytical problem-solving skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Adaptable to change

- Professional demeanor

- Good organizational skills

Salary: $25,000 per month + $1,000 in food vouchers.
