Throughout the years DY has become a globally competitive supplier of hydro automotive components for industrial machinery mainly focused in heavy duty. DY has been expanding around different countries such as Japan, China, India, USA and soon to be Mexico.
The site in Mexico is named DY Mechatronics and it is now in construction, expecting to be finished by the end of 2024. It is so far one of the biggest and most important projects held by the corporation, the reason why we are very excited to work on our new team.

Production Planner

Job Description
The Production Planner in the production management department will be responsible for the formulation, coordination, and optimization of production plans, resource management, and scheduling to ensure maximum efficiency. This role is critical in ensuring that the company meets its production goals by managing and coordinating key production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning and Management
- Develop and manage monthly and weekly production plans, optimizing resource allocation based on the production schedule.
- Adjust production plans based on production goals and priorities, incorporating real-time changes.
- Create realistic production plans based on production capacity and inventory levels.
2. Resource Management and Coordination
- Efficiently allocate and coordinate resources needed for production, including raw materials, manpower, and equipment.
- Ensure resource availability based on the production plan, and collaborate with other departments to resolve any shortages.
3. Production Schedule Monitoring
- Continuously monitor the production schedule to ensure adherence to the plan and take immediate action in case of delays or obstacles.
- Track real-time production status and communicate with the management team to propose optimal solutions for schedule adjustments.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting
- Perform data analysis to improve production efficiency and monitor key performance indicators related to production.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on production plans and progress to present to the management.
5. Collaboration and Communication within Teams
- Work closely with production, procurement, logistics, and other teams to implement the production plan.
- Resolve issues by coordinating with relevant departments to provide timely solutions and ensure smooth production flow.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher (preferably in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Production Management, or related fields)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in production management or planning coordination
- Proficiency in basic production management systems and ERP(SAP) systems
- Strong data analysis and Excel skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Problem-solving and scheduling management capabilities
- Fluency in English

Recruitment Process
Once the profile is reviewed by the HR and administration staff you will receive a call or a message from DY Mechatronics Mexico. It is a 3 step process which requires 3 different interviews. The first interview is held by phone call from the HR staff for general information and CV fact check. The second one follows up with a face to face interview in our offices with the participation of the administrative staff as well as the HR team. The last but not least interview is held with the participation of our vice-president and staff in which the final decision is made.
