PRE-SALES MANAGER (Telecom)

Qualifications:

Experience:

• 3–5 years' hands-on experience with mainstream transport equipment vendors (e.g., Huawei, Nokia, Ciena, Ericsson).
• Proven track record in IP/MPLS and DWDM solution deployment, ideally within the Mexican market.

Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of optical transport networks (DWDM), IP/MPLS core/backbone architectures, and related protocols.
• Strong solution-design capabilities and familiarity with RFP/RFQ processes.

Communication & Language:

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Location: This role is based in Guadalajara, Mexico.

?Key Responsibilities:

Product & Project Support

• Lead product planning and project support activities for transport solutions (IP, DWDM).
• Provide technical support for product marketing activities and facilitate clear communication of requirements from customers.

Pre-Sales & Solution Design

• Conduct pre-sales technical presentations and respond to RFPs/RFQs.
• Develop network architecture designs and technical proposals for prospective projects.

Market Analysis & Reporting

• Collect, consolidate, and analyze sales data, distribution metrics, market share, and marketing share for assigned products in Mexico.
• Prepare analysis reports and insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Competitive Intelligence & Customer Relations

• Perform product and technology competitive analyses based on market demand.
• Manage technical public relations and maintain strong relationships with customer tech teams.

Technical Engagement & Coordination

• Organize and lead technical workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions for operators and partners in the territory.
• Coordinate internal resources and collaborate with project teams to ensure timely project delivery.
