Do you have experience in the Early Childhood Education field? Early Learning Academies is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist professional/leader to join our Human Resources team. We are a fast-paced, growing company and are seeking an HR professional who can partner with our operations across multiple states to provide administrative and consultative support to our network of childcare academies. The Talent Specialist works collaboratively with school leaders and functional teams such as operations to address all areas from recruiting, employee relations, performance management and project implementation. This role is far from one-dimensional and you'll undertake a wide range of HR tasks and responsibilities from day-to-day tactical to operational. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for management of the full life cycle of recruitment efforts for varied roles in ECE. Oversee hiring managers acting as recruiters and performing recruiting functions such as sourcing, screening, interviewing, making hiring decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for talent acquisition and organization effectiveness across the regions
• Elevate the Employee “First 90 Day” experience
• Support brand development and talent acquisition within the Center's community
• Collaborates with school and regional leaders to address all areas from talent acquisition, to optimizing classroom/teacher ratios and compensation.
• Coordinates with ELA functional teams (HRBPs, Operations, Talent Acquisition Manager) to monitor Talent acquisition budgets and effectiveness of campaigns
• Provides regular reports to Center Directors and Regional leaders on open positions, candidate flow, time to hire, time to fill
• Coordinates with HRIS and HRBP to ensure onboarding & orientation happens timely
• Develops processes and improvement opportunities for onboarding, including automation of processes to alleviate burden on Center Directors
• Ensures all new hire documents and onboarding happens in timely manner
• Closely supports Center Directors/managers to ensure “Employee Engagement” happens
• Coordinate reference checks
• Collaborates with TA Manager and field leadership to create training materials for localized Talent acquisition
• Conduct training for effective hiring, interviewing and onboarding talent
• Train managers on using the applicant tracking system
• Supports the Human Resources Business Partner on the full employee life-cycle
• Generate offer letters and notify candidates of the new hire paperwork coming to them
• Support the HR infrastructure development
• Other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
• Four years talent acquisition experience, preferably in the Early Childhood Education industry
• Knowledge of multi-state employment laws and regulations
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or the equivalent experience and education in Human Resources
• PHR or SPHR certification or completion of relevant certificate program preferred
• Experience holding virtual job fairs
• Four years' experience leveraging social media for talent acquisition
• Experience with at least one HRIS
• Experience with various applicant tracking systems and various hiring platforms
• Experience building relationships across multiple states
• Outstanding computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Keen aptitude in problem-solving
• Strong time management skills
Advanced English
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to routinely lift up to twenty (25) pounds and occasionally more than 25 pounds.
