Job Description
As a Systems Engineer I, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design, implementation, and management of complex systems and solutions that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency in the Lifecycle solutions and aftermarket services for advanced migrations, workforce productivity, and plant digitalization. You will work within cross-functional teams on cutting-edge projects that transform the way businesses operate. Your technical expertise in systems engineering and project management will be essential in shaping the future of technology and industry solutions. You will report directly to our team Supervisor, and you'll work at our location or directly at site. In this role, you will impact the development and deployment of advanced systems, including hardware, software, and network components, ensuring they meet project and customer requirements. Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of advanced systems, including hardware, software, and network components
- Provide successful execution of complex engineering projects
- Implement and enforce security measures and compliance standards to safeguard systems and data
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitoring system performance, identifying potential issues, and resolving malfunctions.
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining system documentation.
- Backup and Recovery: Managing backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Capacity Planning: Assessing resource needs and planning for future growth.
- Problem Solving: Analyzing problems and identifying solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (with professional license) in Control and Automation, Mechatronics, Robotics, Communications, Electronics, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience working with Honeywell DCS (Distributed Control Systems)
- Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming
- Experience in maintenance, commissioning, and system startup
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
- Experience in system design
- Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Honeywell control systems
- Familiarity with Honeywell Safety Manager, TPS, and Experion platforms
