Senior Backend Developer (.NET Core + C#) with +6 years of experience.

Main skills:

Net Core version 8. Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core (preferably v8), C#, and Entity Framework (Code First).

SQL Server (database design, and performance tuning)

Strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and secure coding practices.

API performance optimization

About This Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Backend Developer with deep expertise in .NET technologies, API performance optimization, and caching strategies. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our backend services that support our consumer banking mobile application.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize backend services and APIs using .NET technologies.

Implement effective caching strategies to reduce latency and improve data access performance.

Set up and utilize profiling tools to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in backend APIs.

Analyze profiling results, identify root causes, and implement solutions with minimal supervision.

Collaborate closely with mobile development teams to ensure backend performance improvements align with mobile app performance goals.

Ensure consistency and accuracy of data across backend and mobile platforms to deliver a seamless user experience.

Maintain high standards of code quality, security, and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience with .NET Core/.NET 6+ in building scalable backend systems.

Strong understanding of caching mechanisms (e.g., in-memory caching, distributed caching).

Proficiency with profiling and diagnostic tools (e.g., dotTrace, PerfView, Application Insights).

Ability to analyze performance metrics and explain root causes and resolutions clearly.

Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Strong collaboration skills with frontend/mobile teams to ensure end-to-end performance.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

Experience working in the banking or financial domain is a strong advantage.
