About the opportunity:

Reporting to the Development Manager, the Bilingual Software Developer in Test is primarily responsible for ensuring the quality of deliverables throughout the agile development lifecycle.

The Software Developer in Test is a coder who is primarily responsible for creating automated tests and improving code testability. You are passionate about software quality and enjoy refactoring automation framework to make it more efficient. You enjoy working as a team to identify which areas of the application to focus our automation efforts and increase code coverage. By working closely with other QA analysts and developers, the automated tests you write will help determine if the software is ready for production.

The Software Developer in Test will complement the existing team of software developers and QA/Test analysts' strong product and domain knowledge with technical skills and experience in software automation testing.

What you'll get to do:

• Collaborate with fellow developers, architects, test analysts, product owners and key stakeholders throughout the development process to ensure the product has met functional and nonfunctional requirements.
• Analyze, design, write, execute and automate test cases. Perform failure analysis in support of continuous improvement in test results.

• Coordinate with scrum team members (developers, QA analysts and product owners) to produce stable, maintainable and reliable automated test cases.
• Ensure automated tests are effectively covering new product features and associated requirements.
• Analyze automated test results and improve automated test coverage to maintain product quality.
• Improve and implement automation framework code to expand automated test coverage.
• Be adaptable in learning new methodologies and technologies to improve the automated testing processes.

Skills and Experience we value:

• University degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise software development
• English language skills, written and spoken
• Experience and knowledge in Object Oriented Programming using C# / Java

• Solid experience in writing maintainable code and creating automated test scripts for tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, FitNesse and Jmeter
• Proficiency with SQL and an understanding of relational database system
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a team setting with minimal supervision
• Experience working in an Agile development environment and excellent understanding of the development process
