This position´s goal is expanding business with existing and prospective customers, while also serving as a strategic
liaison between our buyers and international suppliers. The ideal candidate is proactive, results-oriented, and
able to operate effectively in multicultural environments. Significant international travel is required to build
relationships, execute sourcing strategies, and implement growth initiatives across assigned markets.
Key Responsibilities:
*Achieves sales goals and executing growth strategies.
*Identify new business opportunities and prospect accounts in assigned international regions.
* Make product and marketing presentations to existing and potential customers.
* Increase customer participation in programs and promotions.
*Prepare and maintain records of sales activity, customer meetings, and forecasts.
*Represent the company at customer functions, trade shows, and dealer markets (travel required).
Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential suppliers, primarily USA, Asia and Latin America.
*Coordinate meetings and negotiations between suppliers and internal buyers.
*Facilitate the initial sourcing and contracting process, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and
logistical requirements.
*Monitor supplier performance and gather feedback to ensure alignment with customer needs.
*Support product development initiatives with supplier input and trend analysis.
Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, or a related field.
* 3–5 years of experience in international sales, business development, or supplier relations.
*Experience in the hardware, home improvement, or retail distribution industry is highly preferred.
*Bilingual in English and Spanish required; additional languages are a plus.
*Strong understanding of international trade, logistics, and cultural dynamics.
*Proficient in G Suite (Google Workspace), Gmail, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
*Ability to travel internationally up to 80%.
