We are looking for a Siemens Specialist Automation Engineer for USA

At Antares Tech, we are seeking an experienced Siemens Specialist Automation Senior Engineer to join our team during this exciting period of growth. We are looking for a talented engineer with a strong background in PLC programming, particularly with Siemens systems and experience in the steel industry.

RESPONSABILITIES:

• Design and develop PLC programs using Siemens TIA Portal, STEP 7, and WinCC.
• Program, test, and troubleshoot Siemens PLCs (S7-1200/1500, S7-300/400).
• Develop and integrate HMI/SCADA applications (WinCC, WinCC Flexible).
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure proper system integration.
• Conduct on-site installation, commissioning, and support for new and existing automation systems.
• Modify and optimize existing PLC code to improve process efficiency and reliability.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation including software architecture, change logs, and user manuals.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards (e.g., IEC, ISO).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Siemens PLC programming and industrial automation.
• Strong command of TIA Portal, STEP 7, S7-300,400,1200,1500, and WinCC HMI/SCADA systems.
• Experience in field commissioning and troubleshooting automation systems.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profinet, Profibus, Modbus).
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, control panels, and instrumentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Advanced to fluent English proficiency is required.
• Availability to relocate anywhere in the United States.
• TN Visa holders are welcome.
