Supplier Quality Engineer

-Location: Av. del Teléfono 200, Huinala, 66640 Cdad. Apodaca, N.L.

-Contract: 10 months Project.

-On site Job.

-Shcedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Activities:

• Manage Audit failures and systemic Issues (SCARs) with suppliers for improved processes and product quality.

• Review supplier submitted change requests as relates to supplier moves and projects.

• Manage product and compliance related supplier risk mitigation strategies as required.

• Participate in the development of partnerships with key Suppliers.

• SQE representative for internal and external Audits

• Develop and manage Supplier Audit Program

• Review and manage supplier Scorecards and associated activities

• Perform part qualification for PMI Engineering Changes

• Responsible for problem Solving based on Rolling Top 5 Supplier Issues

• Provide quality input for Supplier Business Reviews

• Input and participate in Supplier Quality Council (SQM)

• Participate in DFx reviews with Suppliers

• Conduct mandatory periodic Supplier Re-Evaluations

• Own, train and insure smooth implementation for process improvements (Process Excellence Eng)

• Develop Risk Mitigation for Provisional Suppliers

• Ensure Quality terms and conditions with suppliers are adequate

Requirements:

•Strong teamwork and communication skills which are effective in cross-functional teams as a leader or member.

•Experience with Manufacturing process engineer activities, programming, rack design, line balancing, time studies.

•Experience working with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.

•Ability to manage complete project cycle from concept to actual implementation.

•Excellent analytical decision making and problem-solving skills.

•Bilingual English / Spanish.
