GreenStruxure has an opportunity for an Automation Engineer Intern in our Monterrey Competency Center location.
GreenStruxure is a partnership bringing together Schneider Electric's industry leading expertise in renewable energy microgrids and Huck Capital's sustainability-focused investments, launched in September 2020 to deliver energy-as-a-service solutions to commercial and industrial medium-sized buildings in the U.S. This partnership is simplifying and accelerating the market adoption of microgrids, offering an innovative outcome-based alternative for building owners and operators who want sustainable, cost-effective, resilient, onsite energy delivered to them hassle-free as a service by specialists with no upfront capital expenses or operational risks.
The Automation Engineer Intern is a member of the engineering team in charge of the design and implementation of the microgrid.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
GreenStruxure engineering team design and develop the electrical infrastructure of a microgrid behind the meter of the facility.
What do you get to do in this position?
Support in the development of concept designs of microgrids, including Solar & Battery Storage Systems.
Support in the Bill Of Materials maintenance
Develop 2D drawings in CAD.
Support in the generation of engineering documentation.
Assist on record drawings markups.

This job might be for you if:
You are student of 6th to 8th semester or higher of Engineering in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics or related Engineering.
You have availability to work 30 hours a week in the morning.
You can hold technical conversations in English (advanced)
You are highly proficient with Autocad. Revit is a plus.
You have affinity with sustainability, technology & innovation.
