Requirements

• Bilingual English- Spanish

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Programming strength
• Expertise in networking systems
• Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Must possess creative thinking ability
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work to a schedule
• Ability to supervise contract engineering services and installation contractors
• Availability to travel 20 – 40%

Purpose:

This position supervises the safety, quality, cost and timely design, installation and checkout of assigned electrical and process control systems for the production, fabrication and distribution facilities of the business in Mexico and USA.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Evaluate production needs and problems and provide conceptual solutions
• Design control systems for glass manufacturing processes
• Program PLC, HMI, motion control systems
• Create specifications for equipment procurement and installation
• Understand networking concepts and work with network design and configuration teams
• Supervise installation of systems as per Norms in each country
• Startup and debug control systems in assigned projects
• Develop Conceptual and Basic engineering for electricals and control Projects
• Developing Scope of Works as per engineering requirements
• Coordinate engineering development with external suppliers when it is needed
• Develop project execution scheduling
• Define cost and budget estimations for electrical and controls projects.

Salary range:

$38,000 gross salary + benefits above the law
