Objective:
The Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator is responsible for developing and/or implementing VGT Safety, Health and Environment Management System, as well as maintaining compliance with Mexican legislation on the matter.
Responsabilities
Plant Safety and Environmental Coordination.
Registration as waste generators.
Preparation and submission of State and Federal COA.
Follow-up on environmental impact conditions and waste management plans.
Management of programming and follow-up of environmental studies, perimeter noise, wastewater discharges.
Legal compliance follow-up.
EHS budget preparation and control.
Registration and follow-up of accidents in IMSS.
Record compliance with activities, EHS team courses.
Internal compliance and performance audits.
Effective communication with direct managers.
Support in audits required by the client
Management of safety studies and compliance with STPS, civil protection and applicable regulations.
Scheduling and management of health and safety weeks.
Development of quality, environmental and safety procedures.
Coordination of the private security and medical department
Programming and execution of fire and evacuation drills.
Attention to inspection visits to state and municipal civil protection and/or STPS.
Development of bigades.
Ensure that the contractors' work complies with the safety standards established in the company.
Conducting risk analysis of routine and non-routine activities.
Management and disposal of special and hazardous waste.
Implementation of Internal Civil Protection Programs.
