Functions / Tasks - Specific:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience with secondary assembly
- In depth knowledge of following process:
- Robotic / Automated assembly
- Manual assembly
- Experience with welding
- Ultrasonic welding
- Infrared welding
- Vibration welding
- Hot plate welding
- Punching / Trimming
- Laser scoring
- General knowledge of automotive industry requirements:
- Project management skills
- Program launch experience
- Work in a team environment
- Quoting of capital and tooling investments
- Ability to write specifications for capital and tooling investments
- Ability to interact with other departments involved in program
- Knowledge of industrialization documents / software
- Process flows
- Value Steam Mapping
- Product Life Management (PLM)
- Internal purchasing system for investments
- Internal process documentation for a successful launch
- Microsoft Office
- AutoCAD Experience
- Ability to establish program timing for capital and tooling investments
- Ability to meet program deadlines
- Ability to travel domestic and internationally
- May be up to 2-3 weeks
