Job Description

In the role of Senior SRE dev, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 5 years of Information Technology experience
• Experience on one or more of these deployment tools:
  • Ansible/Puppet, Terraform, CI/CD Jenkins/Concourse or any other automation tools.
• Comfortable working with and not limited to:
  • JSON, YAML, SQL file formats
• Experience in designing and developing the automations around cloud infrastructure deployments.
• Experience in developing the playbooks and run books for commonly used configuration management tools.
• Experience in scripting and automating the regular activities/jobs
• Ability to design and develop the automations around the regular activities and deployments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux internals and networking concepts.
• Working experience in any cloud environment:
  • AWS, Azure or Google Cloud (GCP is preferred)
  • Containerization using Docker or similar tools.
  • Kubernetes or similar orchestration systems.

Good to have:

• Certifications in the relevant technologies.
• Experience with Git and Pager duty.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
