Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Field Application Engineering Teams work intimately with customers to recommend products and solutions for new and existing applications. They identify new applications, requirement modifications and enhancements to meet customer specifications and conduct on-site installation and service of product and are responsible for all technical aspects of the sales cycle for potential application of company products to meet customer needs, including identifying opportunities; determining solutions; creating demand; preparing detailed product specifications and technical marketing support; ensuring high quality and timely project execution and conducting follow-up technical support. They also approve operational quality of systems and equipment.

This is agreat opportunity to join our team that is seeking a like-minded person to expand our Industrialmarket share. What you will be doing: As a member of our Industrial segment, the Field Engineer (FE) will work directly with customers andbuyers to help solve their connectivity design challenges. The FE is supporting the Key AccountManager as the outside sales, will learn the market on the job training to become TE's applicationexpert and representative for application focus growth accounts in a defined territory (dependiendode donde están las cuentas). The responsibilities of this role are to identify new opportunities withinexisting accounts and develop new customers in the Industry. The FE is responsible for the pipelinedevelopment of new products and for managing and helping the KAM to win new projects. Thisposition reports directly to the AFG manager with the role to support some of TE's major customers. You will be collaborating with multiple roles such as Product Managers within the organization. As the Field Engineer, a typical day may include: • Promote full TE portfolio (connectors, relays, contactors, filters, harnesses, electrical cabinets,wire/cabling) solutions for industrial applications. • Drive brand awareness and position our solutions & capabilities with our customers • Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers to drive/increase sales andensure an exceptional customer experience solving customer challenges • Develop sales opportunities and assist in developing the pipeline for future sales activity throughdaily interactions with customers. • Learn the customer applications and work with customer engineering teams to solve theirdesigns with TE solutions. • Learn the key components used in the application: customer's needs, requirements, capture theirvoice for their needs so TE can create new products • Respond professionally to inquiries from customers. • Work with the Key Account Manager and AFG leader to execute strategy and account plan(s) forgrowth to TE What your background should look like • Bachelor's Degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred) • Prior outside sales experience. • Knowledge of how tPrior outside sales experience.ork with OEM (Original equipment manufacturer) and DistributionChannel partners
