We are looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer for Assembly to join our team at Toluca.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible to ensure that the processes of current and new machines are properly established and documented based on customer requirements and to ensure product quality from a manufacturing perspective.

Responsibilities

• Participation in the development of the APQP: Complies with the requirements of the APQP where they intervene, providing the information that supports the activity
  • Provide layout of the parts, test results; Maintains the identification and control of samples until their final destination
  • Design, development and control of poka yokes: Identify failure modes where error-proof systems (Poka Yokes) are required, evaluate and implement said systems, the methods for their correct application, maintenance and associated documentation.
  • Preparation and administration of process documentation:
  • Preparation, control and updating of process flow diagrams
  • Preparation, control and updating of standardized worksheets
  • Preparation, control and updating of process FMEA
  • Participation in the development and updating of control plans
  • Preparation, control and updating of SET UP PLAN
  • Preparation, control and updating of Change over instructions
  • Preparation of registrations for wear parts and consumables to guarantee the development of the process
  • Participation in the implementation of LMN's and specific client requirements: Identifies product, process or documentary characteristics that apply to new projects and establishes them in the applicable documents.
  • Participates in the definition of inspection, measurement and testing equipment: As part of the definition of the process and the detection methods defined in the control plan, defines and/or suggests the type of equipment to be used during the process for control. dimensional
  • Evaluate reprocessing requirements and issue a decision, as well as define a method in cases that refer to manufacturing processes.
  • Address process failures: Address the requirements to correct deviations or failures in manufacturing processes.
  • Identify options for improvement in manufacturing costs: Identify and evaluate the operations with the highest manufacturing costs to carry out actions to improve performance.
  • Identify productivity improvement options: Identify and evaluate operations with lower operational performance to carry out improvement actions and eliminate waste.
  • Management of engineering changes: Analyzes the feasibility of engineering changes requested internally and/or externally, carries out the activities required for their implementation.

Requeriments

• Automotive T1 o T2 experience
• English 80%
• Engineering: mechanical, industrial, electro-mechanical, mechatronics,
• Metal - mechanical company experience
• IATF, Core tools,
• Experience in Assembly process
• Experience in the development of manufacture process (inspection, welding)
• PLC Automation & robots ( Kuka, ABB)
• APQP for new launches
