Position: Product Quality Engineer

Company: Leading Metalworking Company

Location: Toluca, Edo. Mex.

Objective:

We are seeking a skilled Product Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with customer requirements and guarantee that all processes are executed according to the procedures and instructions outlined in the Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to customer standards to deliver high-quality products.
• Monitor and manage quality indicators to ensure targets are met.
• Coordinate corrective actions to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Achieve 100% compliance with corrective actions related to customer complaints.
• Review new projects and part number launches to define operational requirements and ensure proper implementation.
• Coordinate with the commercial team to ensure project acceptance rates meet the goals.
• Supervise and guide the work team to achieve quality objectives and deliver results.
• Analyze process results to define corrective, preventive, and containment actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operations scorecards.
• Manage external suppliers to ensure timely and quality service to customers.
• Maintain compliance with customer service and operations scorecards.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a Product Quality Engineer role within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge in the Product Quality area and steel.
• Experience with steel stamping/slitting.
• Proficiency with quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, PPAP, APQP, etc.
• Deep understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
