Scope of Position

Serves in position for corporate responsibility and authority in electrical engineering. Leads electrical engineering discipline staff and is responsible for development, maintenance and enforcement of corporate standards and procedures for electrical engineering for all Business Units.

Skills and qualifications:

*Must be fluent in english

*Degreed Engineer in Electrical Engineering

*Minimum 15 years' experience within the electrical engineering discipline as well as experience in design-build and/or construction with background in Quality.

*High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office programs

*BIM: Manager level proficiency with Autodesk REVIT and AutoCAD programs.

*Ability to read and effectively interpret building construction documentation and associated reports.

*Excellent interpersonal/communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively work with others and interact with all levels of management

Job Responsabilities:

a. Application of Knowledge of Design: Establishes/maintains procedures for assuring design and construction quality standards. Is responsible for discipline quality assurance and assists quality control and quality assurance staff in areas of expertise.

b. Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge of new developments, products, systems and methods for

the discipline, serving as a central resource for technical information and creative/innovative

ideas.

c. Initiates and supervises development and maintenance of design standards, technical details,

standard specifications, checklists and production procedures for the discipline.

Reviews/enforces compliance with standards.

d. Assures adequacy of in-house resource centers, libraries, publications, codes, standards, testing

equipment and similar materials relating to the discipline.

e. Reviews and selects discipline specific analysis and modeling software.

f. Construction support

g. Prepares design scope and man-hour estimates for new projects. Reviews progress and maintains profitable project margins.

h. Responsible for discipline staff reviews, career/professional development, mentoring and technical competence. Encourages and assists in registration, continuing education and expansion of technical knowledge. Recommends salary adjustments and bonuses for discipline staff.

Se ofrece:

Salario de 86,000 Brutos mensuales
