We are looking for a talented SR SPECIALIST BUYER (INDIRECT MATERIALS) to join our team specializing in PURCHASING for our CORPORATE in SAN LUIS POTOSÍ, S.L.P., MÉXICO.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Leads purchasing initiatives in the Facilities-Construction, Corporate Services and Technologies Information of several users in different plants in SLP and Ciudad Juárez.
• Works with the category leader of LATAM , as well as with the Global category team to define strategies and collaborate in the development of category purchasing strategies specifically for LATAM.
• Executes cost and investment or capital reduction projects, through supplier bidding processes.
• Executes complex negotiations of key contracts, investments, capital and problem resolution.
• Monitor indicators and participate in internal and external audits. Ensures Compliance.
• KPI's: Savings, Contracts, Suppliers Diversity, Requisitions approvals, Catalogs use.
• Collaborate on projects or improvement strategies for purchasing processes.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Solid experience as a Indirect Purchasing Specialist or Senior
• Experience in the bidding process for suppliers in any of the following categories: Facilities, Construction (construction projects, equipment maintenance, dining services, security guards, cleaning providers, marketing events, uniforms)
• Solid experience in negotiating heavy investment contracts, savings and continuity issues with suppliers.
• Experience in Indirect Purchasing, Contract Negotiation and strategy functions in the Facilities-Construction category
• Advanced Conversational English
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Basic Finance knowledge is desirable (financial statements, savings calculation, return on investment)
• Knowledge of Ariba or Oracle is desirable
• Certifications in CPP Certification (Certified Procurement Professional) is desirable, and Knowledge of C-TPAT y OEA
• Hybrid position: 3 days on site, 2 days home office.
• Available to travel 5% per year
