Position Summary:
Provides tactical support to identify performance improvement and cost savings utilizing lean tools and techniques for assigned projects. Lead Kaizen events as assigned to have positive impact on the Plant KPIs. Develops and updates trackers that display and communicates the Plant progress toward meeting all metrics and objectives that align with business/functional goals and strategies.

Provides tactical support to identify performance improvement and cost savings utilizing lean tools and techniques for assigned projects. Lead Kaizen events as assigned to have positive impact on the Plant KPIs. Develops and updates trackers that display and communicates the Plant progress toward meeting all metrics and objectives that align with business/functional goals and strategies.
Major Responsibilities:
- Actively work with the EHS Department on the creation of best practices
- Participate in the Operation Teams about scrap reduction initiatives.
- Support the creation of the Standard Work for all levels in the Plant.
- Participate in the creation of the CI Roadmap for Plant and RBS Department.
- Support Kaizen events for improvement in all areas and departments.
- Help implement initiatives to create a Visual Factory.
- Participate in the design of communication and tracking tools to measure the performance of all the areas in the Plant.
- Team up with Manufacturing Engineering on Cycle Time measurement and line balancing.
- Participate in the validation of new equipment and lines during the development process, at supplier and at the Plant before Start of Production.
- Validate any layout change in the Plant (inside and outside)
- Design cost reduction initiatives
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
- Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar (6th semester onwards)
- Experience in Continuous Improvement 1+ yrs
- Knowledge with Cycle Time Measurement and Line Balancing.
- Knowledge with Safety and Ergonomics projects.
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office, Autocad, Solid Works, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Access, Mini Tab, Sketch Up, Power BI, etc.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Effective communicator (verbal, written).
- Analytical / data driven
